Planted Symphony

.

Part of Liberty Festival 2017 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Planted Symphony was a partnership with Arts & Gardens to create a magical, musical, accessible & interactive green space.

It was a playful, music-led performance, where the audience became players in an orchestra as they moved through different sonic areas in the garden with strings, voice and percussion.

The garden was created using Assistive Music Technology for people of all ages to enjoy. Switches, sensors and soundbeams helped to make the garden sing!

Musicians: Joanne Cox – cello, Ruairi Glasheen – percussion, Cassandra Gurling – voice and piano
